Who Can Win?

To win prizes in the Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest, you must:

• Be an eligible contestant.
• Advance to the Final Round of the contest, without violating any of the rules.
• Successfully complete at least one valid bridge design in the Final Round.

High School Contest Prizes

• Each member of the first-place team will receive a $5,000 cash scholarship.
• Each member of the five finalist teams will win a tablet computer generously donated by Dell.

Middle School Contest Prizes

• Each member of the first place team will receive a $1,000 cash scholarship.
• Each member of the three finalist teams will win a tablet computer generously donated by Dell.

NOTE: Our cash scholarship prizes may be increased prior to the end of the Qualifying Round, based on available funding for this project.
