Prizes

To win prizes in the Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest, you must:

• Be an eligible contestant.
• Advance to the Final Round of the contest, without violating any of the rules.
• Successfully complete at least one valid bridge design in the Final Round.

• Each member of the first place team in the high school competition will receive a cash scholarship of $5,000.
• Each member of the first place team in the middle school competition will receive a cash scholarship of $1,000.
• Each member of the finalist teams will win a notebook computer.

Each scholarship awarded in the Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest will be presented in the form of a check to the parent or guardian of the winner.

The money may be used to pay for costs associated with attendance at any educational institution.
