The Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest, formerly the West Point Bridge Design Contest, is an Internet-based competition that provides middle school and high school students with a realistic, engaging introduction to engineering.

The winning team will receive a $5,000 cash scholarship, and all finalists will receive a notebook computer!  More about prizes

The contest is sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers and The Army Educational Outreach Program. Check out other STEM activities and programs sponsored by these organizations.

Engineering Encounters Bridge Design ContestThe West Point Bridge Designer 2014 is now available here for download. This is the only version of the software that can be used to enter the 2014 Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest.
